=) The Mailbox and Settle Down Time

My third day of school at MI is finished and I find myself happy tired at the end of the day.

Although , I know I'm only surviving the first week with God's grace and the gift of ingenuity the past few days, I feel fulfilled. =) [Tsk, I form the concrete lesson plan a few hours before I execute it. I should really plan in advance.]

I find it amusing how I still manage to make my class interesting. It's really a challenge to motivate diverse students, some with special needs. Cute =p I used the song Seasons of Love from Rent to introduce the reading and writing of numbers in standard and word form as well as to show big numbers. ;) Noelle loved it. "525,600 minutes...."

It's touching to get a letter from my advisee telling me, Teacher Kel, I like you. =) Therese.
Thank you Lord for all these blessings I'm looking forward to be with for one whole school year.
Thank you!

"I love you forever"

"I love you forever.
I like you for always.
As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."

=)

What a very touching story. ;)

I hope to read this (and probably sing it) in the future. ;)

bring the lola basyang back

=) Hehe I need to discover the Lola Basyang in me.

I remember I used to get excited when I would watch "Mga kuwento ni Lola Basyang" when I was way young, back when they played it in Channel 13. ;p

I went to 'Boogie by the Book.' It was quite an insightful seminar. It motivated me to think of creative ways to motivate my students to read. I feel more motivate to read myself so that I can teach more, because I know more. =p

I will post more about this after I've gathered my thoughts.
I realized how reading has been a means of relaxing for me..and Trina was the one who pointed it out. Hehe it's true. I'm starting to enjoy children's books. They're not that hard to read but it still provides a venue for one to imagine. =)
